Peer Leadership Award

The Domestic Violence Center (DVC) is seeking nominations for the Peer Leadership Awards to recognize teens who are leaders and role models among their peers. DVC believes that peer leadership and support are crucial to the prevention of domestic violence in the future. Teens who are chosen by the committee, will be recognized on court during half time at a Cavaliers game on February 6th, during Teen Dating Violence Prevention and Awareness Week. The student’s name and the school they attend will be announced when they receive their award. Attendance is pending of: Governor Strickland, Superintendant Sanders, and Mayor Frank Jackson.
