You can help them.
Although we at the Domestic Violence Center are dedicated to providing quality programs and services to women, men and children who are victims of abuse, we simply cannot do this work alone. In fact, with every minute that passes, victims' need for your help continues to grow. You can show your compassion and generosity for victims of domestic violence in any of the following ways:

Gift cards are a great way to help because we can get the supplies we need as we need them, without worrying about storage considerations. Retailers such as Target, Kmart, WalMart and others are some of the most popular choices.
Hold a drive or collect items for DVC's shelter. Click here to view our Wish List. (All items must be new and unused.)

The Domestic Violence Center is in need of prepared meals to be donated at their emergency shelter site. Guidelines:

Over 300 women and children, victims of domestic violence, come to our shelter every year for safety, and every year, we need cleaning supplies to help keep the shelter healthy, clean and bright.
DVC needs the following very specific items: Pine Sol Cleaner, Comet Cleaner, Joy Dish Soap, Tall kitchen size garbage bags, Dreft or Purex laundry detergent, Cascade dishwasher detergent, Windex.
Due to strict health and environmental guidelines, we can only use these particular products and not substitutions. Thank you!

Have a garage sale, jewelry party, bake sale, etc. and donate the proceeds to DVC.
Ask your place of employment, family or friends to donate new and used cell phones, which are given to victims of domestic violence.
Working or not, your old cell phone and battery can:
