Accounting Manager

Part-time 10-15 hours per week, flexible - responsible for maintenance and review of general ledger accounting records, grant reports and grant reimbursements.  Assist the CFO in monthly financial statement preparation. Must have a good knowledge of fund accounting and solid experience with government grants. Medicaid billing experience is a plus. Qualifications include, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant experience with accounting, grant billing and budgets, and general ledger maintenance. Excellent computer skills also required.

Director of Development

 

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Hours: 40 hours per week

FT position -oversee daily activities of Director of Development including fundraising, major donor campaigns, events, grant writing, in-kind donations and volunteer program.  Essential job function consists of establishing short and long-range goals for the development department and enlists support from department members to increase funds, raise awareness and engage volunteers. 

Qualifications include, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant experience with communications, grant writing, donor relations, newsletters and public relations functions.  Good computer skills also required.

Ujima Program Advocate

 

Reports To: Ujima Program Coordinator

Hours: 40 hours per week

FT - provides culturally-specific services that facilitate safe options and stability for African American victims of domestic violence. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: facilitating weekly educational domestic violence classes and support groups, crisis intervention, multi-system advocacy, data collection and timely reporting to meet grant requirements.

Qualifications include, at minimum, a Bachelors Degree and/or five years of relevant experience. Proven group facilitation skills are required. Strong computer skills needed.
