WHY VOLUNTEER
DVC's dedicated staff work very hard to provide quality programs to women, men and children. However, we realize we cannot do this work alone, and our volunteers have been invaluable in providing services to close existing gaps. The Domestic Violence Center highly values its volunteers and greatly needs the help that any individual or group can offer. Volunteers are a critical part of the day to day functioning of our organization. They perform a variety of tasks including direct work with women and children, hotline advocacy, administrative work, shelter cleanups, children's parties, maintenance projects and much more. Our volunteers are an essential component to our agency and we would simply like to say thank you! Volunteering can bring a great sense of reward and accomplishment.
